OUR HISTORY

Kurubis est né d’une passion. Son histoire a commencé en 2004 suite à la rencontre fortuite de Rached LAGHA, a landowner in Korba who wanted to better showcase his viticultural heritage, and Didier CORNILLON, a French oenologist in constant pursuit of the best wine terroirs around the world. From the very beginning, the potential proved to be enormous, matched only by the ambition of its founders. Kurubis then chose to produce only wines of exceptional quality, modern, creative, and innovative. Wines that offer nothing but the best of the terroir. In 2005, the first iconic cuvées were produced: Kurubis red and white powerful and structured, Soltane in red, white, and rosé, delicate and elegant, and « K », vin mousseux et première méthode traditionnelle en Tunisie…

Over the years, the range has developed and become increasingly bold. Unique cuvées have been born:  Kaprice, the quintessence of Syrah in a great red cuvée, KISS in sparkling white and rosé whose delightful freshness delights all palates and CRAZY, un rosé de syrah d’une délicatesse et puissance extrêmes…

In 2021, Jalel SOUISSIIn 2021, he joins the Kurubis adventure. A fresh impetus and development follow with him. Drawing from his vast experience in the business world, he brings a new dynamic to the company, aiming to make Kurubis an even more leading brand in terms of quality, both locally and internationally. Significant expansion and modernization work are then undertaken, with new cellars, new equipment, and new commercial ambitions… all resources are made available to enable Kurubis' development, with no compromise on quality. The range is then further enriched. Nature, premier vin sans sulfites ajoutés voit le jour en 2022, puis Wineshot, des cuvées hautement qualitatives en édition uniques en 2023. La vocation de Kurubis a été et sera toujours l’innovation pour le plaisir de ses clients.
